Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Present menus and provide detailed information about dishes, ingredients, and specials
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and ensure correct orders are delivered
  • Check on customers during their meal to ensure satisfaction
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns politely and efficiently
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, cutlery, and glassware
  • Process bills and handle payments (cash, card, etc.)
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not always required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
  • Good physical stamina (standing, walking, carrying trays)
