We’re looking for an experienced Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist with a passion for integrative health and movement-based rehabilitation skills to join our friendly, multidisciplinary team at Waitākere Health Hub.

This is a rare opportunity to work in a modern, light-filled clinic where hands-on treatment, movement, and long-term wellbeing are seamlessly integrated.  Whilst living in the beautiful surroundings of West Auckland.

The Role

You’ll be working with a diverse client base including:

  • Musculoskeletal pain & injuries
  • Stress, fatigue & nervous system regulation
  • Women’s health & pelvic health
  • Chronic pain & postural issues
  • Active individuals seeking performance & recovery support

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing acupuncture and Chinese medicine consultations and treatments
  • Assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for patients
  • Integrating movement-based rehab strategies into treatment plans
  • Collaborating care plan with osteopaths, massage therapists, and movement
    practitioners
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Ensuring compliance with professional and clinical standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) or a minimum of 2 years clinical
    experience
  • Holds a current Annual Practising Certificate issued by the Chinese Medicine
    Council of New Zealand
  • Confident, warm, and patient-centred
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Passionate about evidence-informed, holistic care
  • Interested in functional movement, rehabilitation, and long-term outcome
  • Bonus if you have experience with:
    - Pain management and chronic conditions
    - Women’s health or pelvic health
    - Clinical Pilates or keen to develop this skill further

What We Offer:

  • $30 - $40 per hour, depending on your experience and skills
  • Full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, up to a
    maximum of 40 hours per week
