Guest Services Supervisor – Maruia Hot Springs (Live & Work Remotely)
Maruia Hot Springs is a remote, nature-based wellness destination on the West Coast. We are seeking a capable and adaptable Guest Services Supervisor to support daily front-of-house operations and lead a small team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
This is a hands-on role combining guest service, team support, and operational systems management in a unique off-grid environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervising front desk operations and guest services
- Leading shifts and supporting a small team
- Managing guest enquiries, bookings, and service delivery
- Operating booking systems, POS, and administrative processes
- Supporting reporting, systems, and workflow improvements
- Preparing beverages including coffee as required
- Maintaining high service standards in a remote setting
Skills & experience:
- Relevant experience in customer service, hospitality, or operational environments
- Demonstrated team leadership or supervisory capability
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn systems quickly
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve
- Barista experience preferred
Qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification (any discipline) is preferred, particularly where supported by relevant experience
The role requires:
- Willingness to live and work in a remote location
