We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Pizza Hut Hastings West. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the fast-food/QSR industry and take on a leadership role in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in daily operations of the restaurant
  • Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer queries or complaints professionally
  • Supervise and lead team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently maintained
  • Monitor staff performance and assist with training and development
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control
  • Handle cash management, tills, and end-of-day reporting
  • Ensure efficient preparation and timely delivery of orders (dine-in, takeaway, and delivery)
  • Assist in rostering and staff scheduling

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fast-food or hospitality supervisory/management role preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and late evenings
  • Basic computer and reporting skills
