We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Pizza Hut Hastings West. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the fast-food/QSR industry and take on a leadership role in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in daily operations of the restaurant
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer queries or complaints professionally
- Supervise and lead team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently maintained
- Monitor staff performance and assist with training and development
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control
- Handle cash management, tills, and end-of-day reporting
- Ensure efficient preparation and timely delivery of orders (dine-in, takeaway, and delivery)
- Assist in rostering and staff scheduling
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fast-food or hospitality supervisory/management role preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and late evenings
- Basic computer and reporting skills
