The Baker's Crust in Whangarei is looking for reliable and motivated Bakers to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing and baking a range of baked goods.

The duties and responsiblities are:

  • Day to day tasks
  • Preparing and measuring baking ingredients following to the recipes
  • Mixing, kneading and shaping dough
  • Baking bread, donuts, pies and other baked goods
  • Operating bakery equipment such as mixers and ovens
  • Monitoring baking temperatures and baking times
  • Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assisting with daily bakery production and preparation
  • Keep the workplace clean and tidy

Job details:

  • Pay: $30 to $35 per hour depend the job experience 
  • Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week and up to 40 hours depending on business needs
  • Location: Whangarei, Northland
  • Employment type: Permanent full-time

Requirements:

  • At least 2 year experience in baking or similar kitchen work
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work early morning shifts if required
  • Reliable and able to work as part of a team
