Housekeepers and Reliever-Receptionist
We are looking for two self-motivated workers to take up “Housekeeper and Reliever-Receptionist” positions at our Ellerslie International Hotel and Conference Center in Auckland.
In this position you will be mainly responsible for cleaning and housekeeping duties, and will be covering the receptionist duties when required.
The position is based in Ellerslie, Auckland. The guaranteed hours of work is 30 hours per week with a pay rate of $24.00 up to $29.00 per hour for the right candidates.
Key tasks of the position will include:
◦ Cleaning and tidying motel rooms, changing/making beds
◦ Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained
◦ Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
◦ Cleaning and stocking restrooms
◦ Notifying manager of necessary repairs
◦ Collecting and disposing of trash
◦ Keeping the linen room stocked
◦ Properly cleaning furnitures and equipment
◦ May assist with checking guest in and out of motel as required
To be successful in this role you will need to:
• Hold relevant commercial housekeeping experience for 6 months or more
• Flexibility to work full time including weekends and public holidays
• Health and Safety conscious
• Excellent communication skill – both written and verbal
• Ability to deliver exceptional service standards
