Position – Outlets Operations Manager

 

We have two food outlets (Asian fusion) in Auckland. We are looking to appoint an Operations Manager to handle and manage both the outlets. This position requires working on weekends.

You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours/week and maximum 48 hours.

We are looking for someone who is-

Qualification/Work Experience

To be successful you must have at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

Your daily task will include-

 

Manage and coordinate ordering of supplies.

Manage inventory.

Hire and train staff, manage rosters.

Ensure food costs are kept within targets.

Manage and ensure food quality.

Ensure all outlets remain compliant with health and safety issues.

Provide customer service, resolve complaints, make and manage customer service standards as required.

Keep a record of all financial transactions.

Ensure supplier receipts and payments are tracked.

Form and maintain healthy relationships with suppliers, research best prices and supplier companies.

Implement marketing and advertising initiatives as and when required.

Serve food to guests if required.

Communicate with customers to take feedback.

O & Bowl is an Asian eatery based in Newmarket and New Lynn shopping malls. We are looking for TWO full–time permanent Asian cooks to be part of our team. You must have knowledge of Japanese and Korean cuisines. This position requires working on weekends.

You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours/week.

Maximum working hours can go up to 45 hours/week.

 

We are looking for someone who is-

-        Has excellent personal presentation and punctuality.

-        Good knowledge of Japanese and Korean spices, seasoning, and garnish preferred.

 

 

 

Qualification/Work Experience

To be successful you must have relevant work experience of at least 2 years or more in a similar role.


Your daily task will include-

·       Preparing and cooking Japanese and Korean dishes according to the menu.

·       Advise the chef about the stock and supplies of the kitchen.

·       Refrigeration and storing of the raw and cooked food items at the correct temp.

·       Ensure the quality of food is maintained and operate and maintain the kitchen equipment.

·       Preparing the food to meet the specific dietary requirement of the customers.

·       Discuss preparation of the food with the chef and other staff as required.

·       Maintain and follow all the health and safety standards as per the government regulations.

·       Assist in training other kitchen staff if required.
