Dongbei BBQ Limited, trading as Kings Barbecue Restaurant, is located in Somerville, Auckland. We provide top-class BBQ skewers and other Asian food. We now need two Cooks to help us provide top-quality food and service. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 working hours per week.

Job Description:

The job involves the following tasks and duties:

· Preparing and cooking all the dishes offered by the restaurant

· Seasoning food during preparation and cooking, when necessary

· Monitoring the quality of food at all stages of preparation, cooking, and presentation

· Assisting in improving dishes

· Assisting in managing the overall operation of the kitchen

· Assisting in ordering supplies and stocks

· Ensuring the kitchen’s operation complies with hygiene and safety regulations.

To qualify for the job, you need to have:

· At least two years of relevant work experience.

· A certificate in a Cookery-related area, or a Bachelor's degree in any major, can replace the work experience requirement.

· Have a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure since our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours.

· You may be required to work during the weekend

· You should also have good attention to detail to make sure everything that goes through your hands is thoroughly clean.
