Restaurant Manager

Global Trading Ltd is looking for 1 Restaurant Manager to run the restaurant operaton smoothly. This is a permanent job with min of 30 hourse at the rate of $30-$38 per hour depdning on your skils, experience and education in Auckland region.

The job duties may include but not limited :

• Plan menus in consultation with chefs, taking into account customer preferences, seasonal availability, and cost control.
• Organise and coordinate special functions, events, and group bookings to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Manage purchasing, pricing, and cost control of food, beverages, and supplies in line with budget requirements.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of stock levels, financial transactions, and daily operations.
• Ensure all dining and kitchen facilities comply with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Liaise with customers to evaluate satisfaction with meals and service, and resolve complaints effectively.
• Recruit, train, and supervise waiting staff, kitchen staff, and other team members to maintain service quality.
• Oversee daily operations including reservations, greeting guests, and assisting with order taking when required.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and customer service standards.
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws, food safety standards, and company policies.

Qualification and Experience: 

• Level 4 qualificationa or higher or 3 years relevant expreince required
