Work Location: Auckland

Employment type: Full time (guaranteed 30 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, between 10am to 3am next day, including night hours shifts), Permanent

Our pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

We are a well-established popular bar based in Auckland.

To enhance our team, we are now looking for 2 Duty Managers to join our team.  

We are expecting someone who has a passion for work, attention to details, ability to multi task and be a proactive member of the team.

Ideal candidates should have:

-       At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the same industry/field OR,

-       A relevant NZQF level 2 or 3 qualification OR a bachelor degree in any discipline.

You may obtain your LCQ license after commencing employment, but you must do so within 3 months.

You are required to:

•           Supervise efficient working of FOH and BOH teams and assign shifts.

•           Oversee staff’s compliance with all health code and sanitation requirements.

•           Work with staff to project future needs for bar supplies, goods, and cleaning products.

•           Maintain inventory of all needed supplies to enhance sales.

•           Supervise workload and ensure effective working of bar activities and maintain excellent standards to meet operational expectations

•           Assist in hiring and training new employees as well as the continuous training of existing staff

•           Respond to customer complaints quickly and resolve them effectively

•           Coordinate with team to ensure customer satisfaction and follow company procedures to increase work efficiency

•           Resolve staff grievances together with Bar Manager/Working Shareholder.

•           Coordinate with Bar Manager/Working Shareholder for everyday operation and maintain financial and administrative records
