Café Manager Needed

Honey Café (Power Future Limited) is a cafe located in Takapuna. We are looking for an experienced café manager to join our busy team.

Location of Work: Takapuna, Auckland

Number of Vacancies: 1

Type of employment: full time, 30-50 hours per week

Days required: Monday to Sunday

Pay: $30 per hour

Your duties will include:

·      Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, including opening and closing procedures

·      Manage and supervise staff, including rostering, training, and monitoring

·      Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries or complaints

·      Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and liaise with suppliers

·      Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations

·      Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards of the café

·      Coordinate menu planning and pricing in consultation with owners or chefs

Successful applicants will have:

·      At least 2-year work experience in Café, including at least 6-month in a management role

·      Strong leadership and team management skills

·      Excellent customer service and communication abilities

·      Good organisational and time management skills

·      Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

·      Basic financial and business management knowledge
