Concierge – Luxury Retreat & Spa

Te Whaanga Retreat and Spa is seeking a professional and guest‑focused Concierge to join our front‑of‑house team. This role suits someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional service within a prestigious luxury retreat and wellness environment.

The role is Full time Working on a roster set by the employer. 

Minimum 30 hours per week and Maximum 40 hours per week

About the Role

As a Concierge at Te Whaanga Retreat and Spa, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring each guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming guests with a warm, professional approach
  • Managing guest enquiries in person, by phone, and via email
  • Providing information about spa services, retreat facilities, and local experiences
  • Assisting with bookings, transport, and personalised guest requests
  • Maintaining an immaculate and professional front‑of‑house environment

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional presentation aligned with a luxury retreat setting
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to understand and speak Japanese is an advantage
  • Reliable, well‑organised, and service‑driven
