The office manager will manage all aspects of the business operations independently. This will include client communication, quoting, procurement, workshop production, on-site meetings, and administrative duties, and ensure the continued growth and operational efficiency of the business. 

 

Key Responsibilities of the Office Manager

Administrative and Office Management
Oversee day-to-day administrative functions, manage correspondence, including emails and phone calls, prepare quotes and invoices, organise schedules and appointments, and maintain accurate filing systems and records.


Customer Communication and Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, manage client enquiries, provide updates on project progress, and coordinate site visits and job scheduling.


Accounts, Bookkeeping Support, and Supplier Management

Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, data entry, invoice processing, supplier account management, purchase orders, and tracking of material deliveries and job costs.
Workflow Planning and Job Tracking
Support the planning and coordination of weekly workflows, create and manage job folders, monitor project timelines, and ensure a smooth transition from quoting to job completion.


Compliance, Record-Keeping, and Operational Support
Maintain health and safety documentation, ensure compliance with business regulations, manage warranties and operational records, and assist with marketing and business development tasks.
Human resource related functions
Coordinating hiring, performance management, payroll, training and supervision, allocation and assigning of work

Minimum Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 7 or higher) in Business, Commerce, Management or a 
closely related field;
OR
At least two years of relevant experience demonstrating capability in office management and administration.
