We are a well-established Chinese medicine clinic based in Auckland, dedicated to providing holistic and patient-centred healthcare services. We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Acupuncturist to join our friendly and professional team.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients, creating tailored treatment plans, and delivering high-quality acupuncture and related therapies to support recovery and overall wellbeing.
- Key Responsibilities
Your main duties will include:
• Conducting patient consultations, assessments, and physical examinations to identify health concerns
• Formulating personalised treatment plans based on traditional Chinese medicine principles
• Providing acupuncture treatments using appropriate techniques to stimulate natural healing
• Applying additional therapies such as cupping, tui na massage, and electro-acupuncture where suitable
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records
• Offering advice on diet, lifestyle, and preventative health care
• Ensuring compliance with clinical, professional, and regulatory standards
• Upholding high standards of hygiene, safety, and infection control
• Communicating clearly with patients regarding treatment plans and expected outcomes
- Requirements:
• A recognised qualification at NZQA Level 7 or above in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, or a related field
• A minimum of one year’s clinical experience as a practising acupuncturist
• Holds a current Annual Practising Certificate issued by the Chinese Medicine Council of New Zealand (CMCNZ)
• Solid knowledge of acupuncture techniques and TCM theory
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A professional attitude with a strong focus on patient care and safety
- What We Offer:
•$28- $36 per hour, depending on your experience and skills
•Full-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, up to a maximum of 40 hours per week
