About the Role-
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth daily operations at our busy Indian restaurant. You’ll be the face of the business during your shift—making sure customers have an amazing experience, and the team runs efficiently.
- Key Responsibilities -
Manage daily restaurant operations and staff.
Ensure outstanding customer service. Handle bookings, POS, and cash management.
Resolve customer complaints professionally.
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws.
Supervise and train team members. - Maintain host responsibility and ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act.
Requirements.
At least 1–3 years of hospitality management experience
Valid LCQ + Manager’s Certificate (or ability to obtain in NZ).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
English language proficiency.
A full-time, permanent position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.
