Healthcare Assistant – Flexible Roles Across Waikato Region!

Locations: Hamilton, Huntly, Thames, Cambridge, Matamata, Morrinsville, Waihi, Putāruru, Whangamatā (travel bonus provided)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Minimum 32 per week (24/7 shifts, including on-call roster)
Pay Rate: $28.25 – $35.00/hour (based on qualifications & experience)

About the role:

We, at LAD Healthcare are looking for reliable, compassionate Healthcare Assistants to work under Registered Nurses, providing essential care in diverse settings. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Work closely with a team to implement our individual care plans. Full training provided.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promptly completing delegated tasks in a timely manner
  • Maintaining and updating resident healthcare records
  • Deliver quality care and support to residents/clients under Registered Nurses direction.
  • Adapt to 24/7 shifts, multiple locations, short-notice starts, and on-call duties.
  • Travel flexibly across Hamilton, Huntly, Thames, Cambridge, Matamata, Morrinsville, Waihi, Putāruru, and Whangamatā.

The Ideal candidate:
