Restaurant Manager - Northshore Auckland

Chef K is seeking a full-time Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. We specialise in Korean cuisine and provide an excellent environment for career growth within the hospitality industry. Our menu features a diverse range of dishes, all crafted daily using fresh, high-quality ingredients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborating with chefs to develop menus
  • Managing and conduction special events
  • Overseeing the purchase and cost control of goods within budget limits
  • Keeping accurate records of inventory levels and financial transactions
  • Ensuring the dining area meets health standards and is clean, well-maintained,
    and presentable
  • Engaging with customers to evaluate their satisfaction with food and service
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen and service staff
  • Handling reservations, welcome guests, and help with order taking

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality management, or a Diploma in Management, or bachelor degree in any field.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to resolve issues professionally
  • Solid understanding of stock control, budgeting, and compliance requirements
  • Passion for food quality, innovation, and business growth

Role Details:

  • Minimum Guaranteed Hours: At least 30 hours weekly (up to 48 hours)
  • Pay Rate: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • Employment Type: Permanent Full-time
