Join our team as a Duty Manager in our Bar and Gaming Lounge, nestled in the heart of Upper Hutt. This full-time role offers you the chance to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant hospitality venue and make a real impact on our guests' experiences.

Key Responsibilities

   Manage and coordinate all bar and gaming lounge operations
   Ensure exceptional customer service and a seamless guest experience
   Handle cash, process payments, and oversee inventory management
   Enforce licensing and gaming regulations
   Lead and motivate staff, including scheduling and training
   Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
   Resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively
   Planning and organizing special functions
  Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget 
  Selecting, training and supervising staff 

 

What We're Looking For

   Valid LCQ and Manager's Certificate (essential).
   Valid qualification or experience is prefferd
   Proven experience in Liquor industry
   Excellent customer service skills and passion for creating memorable experiences
   Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
   Thorough understanding of liquor licensing laws and gaming regulations
   Proficiency in cash handling, inventory management, and financial reporting
   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
