This is a full-time role for an experienced CSSD Technician joining a clinical team in a busy Brisbane private day hospital. The scope is surgical, the standards are non-negotiable, and the team you will be joining takes quality seriously.

What the role involves:

Cleaning, sterilising, inspecting and packaging surgical instruments to the required standard every time. Managing documentation, maintaining stock levels for perioperative staff, and ensuring infection control and sterilisation standards are upheld in line with AS 5369:2023. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team with a shared focus on patient safety and clinical outcomes.

What we need from you:

• Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilising Services
• Solid CSSD experience in a surgical hospital setting
• Sound working knowledge of AS 5369:2023 and infection control standards
• Experience in gastroenterology
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to anticipate and meet the sterilisation needs of operating and procedure rooms
• Clear, professional communication skills and a team-first attitude
