The Coast To Coast Hauora Trust is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in Wellsford. We are committed to providing high-quality care and support to individuals in our community, helping them maintain independence and wellbeing.

Position Details

  • Location: Wellsford, New Zealand
  • Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
  • Pay Rate: $28.25 to $30.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including use of mobility aids
  • Support clients with meal preparation and feeding
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with medication as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Perform household duties such as cleaning and laundry
  • Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and wellbeing
  • Support clients to maintain daily routines and independence
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification NZQF Level 4 in Health and Wellbeing)
    OR at least 2–3 years of relevant work experience
  • Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or home care preferred
  • Good understanding of personal care and hygiene practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate, reliable, and patient approach
  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends if required
