We are currently seeking one Office Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily office operations, ensuring administrative efficiency, supporting business functions, and maintaining smooth coordination across all areas of the organisation.
This is a permanent full-time position, working minimum hours of 30 per week. You may be required to work extra hours as required. You will be hired at a competitive wage rate of $35 to $45 per hour.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and supervise daily business operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery across all cleaning contracts and client sites.

Recruit, train, roster, and supervise staff, including monitoring attendance, performance management, and payroll coordination.

Maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure high-quality service standards are consistently achieved.

Coordinate cleaning schedules, staff allocations, and operational requirements across multiple locations to meet client expectations and contractual obligations.

Conduct regular quality assurance checks and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain service excellence and customer satisfaction.

Manage company equipment, cleaning supplies, and specialised machinery, including arranging maintenance, repairs, and stock control.

Ensure full compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, company policies, and all relevant employment and operational legislation.

Train and coach staff on workplace procedures, cleaning standards, health and safety requirements, and proper use of cleaning equipment.

Maintain accurate records of contracts, staff documentation, payroll information, supplier arrangements, and operational reports.

Prepare service quotations, assist with contract renewals, and support business growth by identifying new service opportunities.

Provide hands-on operational support, including commercial cleaning duties when required to meet urgent business needs.

Travel across various client locations throughout the South Island as required for operational supervision, staff support, and client relationship management.
Qualification and Experience
Diploma level 5 or above or Bachelor Degree or 3 years relevant experinece.
