Support the coordination of travel, events, and training administration across the organisation during a key period of transition.
THE ROLE
Our Dunedin-based client is seeking a Temporary Travel & Events Coordinator for a contract of up to 6 months, starting immediately. This part-time role (3 days per week) focuses on delivering seamless travel logistics, coordinating company events, and administering national training programmes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across multiple functions, requiring strong organisational capability and the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence.
  
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate domestic and international travel, including bookings, itineraries, and issue resolution
• Maintain travel schedules and ensure compliance with company policies and cost efficiencies
• Plan and deliver company events, including venue sourcing, supplier coordination, and logistics
• Manage event registrations, communications, and post-event administration
• Administer MCTI training programmes, including scheduling, enrolments, and record management
• Provide general administrative support, including invoice processing and responding to internal queries
  
SKILL SET
• Proven experience in travel, events, training administration, or a similar coordination role
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in managing bookings and records
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using booking or CRM systems
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
