We are looking for a Receptionist and Reservation staff to join our team located in Lake Tekapo.

This is a full time permanent role, with guaranteed 30 hours per week.

The role is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, handling check-in and check-out procedures, and managing reservations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Your core duties and responsibilities include guest check-in & check-out, reservations management, administrative and other reasonable tasks, providing exceptional customer service.

You will report to the Front Officer and Reservations Manager and Front Office Supervisor.

To be qualified for this role, you are required to have:

  • At least 1-year relevant work experience, proficient to use hotel reservation systems and computer software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good level of English
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work rotating rosters, Monday to Sunday including public holidays and weekends, between 6am and 11:30pm. Sufficient notice will be provided for your rosters.
