Location: Auckland

Employment Type: Full-time (guaranteed 30hours / per week, Monday to Sunday, rotating roster), Permanent

Our pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

We are a reputable restaurant based in Auckland.

We are now looking for 2 waiting staff to enhance our team. We are expecting someone who has a passion for customer service, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and be a proactive member of the team.

You are required to:

• Setting up and preparing tables before each opening for customers
• Greeting customers and handing out food menus and beverage lists
• Answering questions about menu specialties and matching drinks
• Taking orders and passing to kitchen staff to prepare
• Serving food and beverages to customers at the highest service standard
• Cleaning tables and returning dishes and cutlery to kitchen when customers finish dining
• Calculating payments for the order and collecting money using the cash registration machines 
• Reporting to management on any issues require attention, such as customer complaints, restocking needs and potential hazards at work 

To be successful you will need: 

• Have a minimum of 6 months’ relevant experience in the hospitality industry
• Good eye for detail and an ability to learn fast
• Have no criminal conviction record
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• A "can-do" attitude
