Position – 1 Full-Time Bar Manager 
 
We are looking for a Bar Manager to join our excellent hospitality venue in Te Awamutu. This position requires working on weekends and roster shifts.


You will be required to work a minimum of 32 hours/week. Maximum working hours can be - 48/week.

-        Passionate about Bar Work and have extensive drinks knowledge 
-        Team player who is confident and honest.
-        Has excellent personal presentation and punctuality.
-        Can work with a team under pressure as well as individually 
-        Well aware of Liquor Laws in New Zealand

 Qualification/Work Experience
To be successful, you will need to have at least three years of bar experience and extensive knowledge of cocktail making, bartending and being a mixologist.  Candidate with LCQ qualifications and manager certificate will be preferred for this role as this is essential to serve alcohol in bar environment and is mendatory for this position.

Your responsibilities may include the following:

Maintaining a welcome environment within the bar at all times with the team
Keeping up to date with licensing legislations in regards to liquor laws in New Zealand
Follow health and safety rules to ensure safety of other staff and customers. 
Carrying out the daily cleaning schedule within the bar with team
Bring food and beverage elements of the bar in an attractive way to customers and use upselling where needed.
Ability to upsell, cross-sell and make recommendations to patrons and drive sales
Prepare and Serve bottled alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, mocktails etc.
Receiving payments from patrons and operate POS.
Getting staff to replenish stock and bar display. 
Shift management and stock management, adhere to budget set up by company director
Do staff training and recruitment as per business requirement. 

As Bar Manager you must be able to create new drinks menu time to time, able to drive bar sales, set up kpis for the team and ensure staff in trained on Servewise & alcohol related tools to ensure local council compliance at all times.
