You will work under the supervision of kitchen staff and management and assist with the
preparation and cooking of menu items while maintaining high standards of food quality,
hygiene, and service.

Hours: minimum 30 hours guaranteed, up to 45 hours per week | Monday to Sunday

Pay rate: $25-$30 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Cooking food under the direction of senior kitchen staff
Preparing and cooking fried food using commercial fryers
Washing, cutting, measuring, and mixing food ingredients
Monitoring and maintaining consistency in food quality and presentation
Freezing and preserving food where required
Packing food, wrapping it, and adding sauces, gravies, and garnishes
Assisting with taking and serving food orders during busy periods
Operating kitchen equipment such as grills, microwaves, and deep-fat fryers
Cleaning kitchen areas, equipment, and workstations, including fryers and hoods
Washing dishes when required
Carrying out other relevant kitchen duties as assigned from time to time
Other requirements Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work weekends and public holidays
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
Ability to work well as part of a team
Relevant work experience is preferred but not essential; full training will be
provided
Well organised, reliable, and passionate about food and hospitality
