About the Company
JMJ ONE LIMITED operates a Domino’s Pizza store in Whanganui. We are
committed to delivering high-quality food, excellent customer service, and
strong operational standards. Due to ongoing operational requirements, we are
seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our Whanganui store.


We currently have two full-time permanent positions available:
Pay Rate: $25 – $30 per hour (based on experience)
Reports to: Store Manager


About the Role
The Shift Manager supports the Store Manager by running shifts efficiently,
supervising staff, maintaining product quality, and ensuring great customer
service. This hands-on position suits candidates who enjoy fast-paced
environments and teamwork.


Key Responsibilities include, by not limited to:
 Inventory and Stock Management:
o Inspect ingredient levels, identify shortages, and report to the Store Manager.
o Place accurate orders to maintain optimum stock levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
o Check weekly deliveries for accuracy and claim credits for any shortages.

 Quality Assurance and Standards:
o Maintain product and service quality as per brand standards,
including food delivery standards.
o Assist the Store Manager in ensuring compliance with food safety,
health & safety, and brand standards to pass internal audits.

 Customer Service:
o Ensure customer service standards are met by responding to
inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.

 Team Supervision and Training:
o Train, evaluate, and manage staff performance within your shift.
o Resolve staff grievances and maintain a productive team
environment within your shift.

 Operational Management:
o Handle daily cash reconciliations and oversee opening/closing
procedures during your shift.
o Manage equipment repairs and maintenance as needed.
 Promotions and Sales:
o Actively promote in-store offers, advertisements, and promotions to customers.
 Hands-On Support:
o Prepare food items alongside store staff, including dough
preparation, pizza making, and cutting.
o Serve pizzas to customers with a smile, handle transactions, and
assist with delivery tasks if required.

Eligibility Criteria
 Minimum 6 months of work experience in retail environment.
 Availability to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and on- call when
required.
 Good communication and computer skills.
 Willingness to undergo drug, alcohol, and Ministry of Justice checks.
 Prior food-handling experience advantageous.
