We are a busy New Zealand owned company. We are looking for a skilled full- time/permanent Manager for our authentic Turkish restaurant in Papamoa, Bay of Plenty.
You will be managing our restaurant and will have a good level of decision-making powers.
About the job:
- This is a permanent full-time role, and you will be paid $30.00 to $35.00 per hour.
- You will work a minimum of 30 hours and a maximum of 45 hours each week. Hours and days of work may vary, but your hours of work will be between 10:30am to 9:00pm Monday to Sunday.
- You ideally will have a hospitality management qualification AND at least 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry (front of house or back of house or both).
- You should have a strong work ethic and can work under pressure.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the restaurant including ensuring that the restaurant is well presented.
- Write reports and carry out stock orders. Ensure we meet our budget.
- Oversee and manage front of house functions, opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure that customer feedback is managed and ensure customer satisfaction. Deal with issues and questions if they arise.
- Ensure that customer dietary requirements are met.
- Prepare rosters and work schedules.
- Training, interviewing, and managing staff. Teach staff customer service techniques where required.
Ensure that all relevant regulatory requirements have been met.
