We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Chinese Tridecagonal Medical Practitioner to join our wellness team. The practitioner is responsible for providing high-quality clinical care using traditional modalities including acupuncture, herbal medicine, and manual therapies. The goal is to address the root cause of ailments and promote long-term wellness through individualized treatment plans.
Core Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive consultations using the "Four Diagnostics": Inspection (looking), Auscultation/Olfaction (listening/smelling), Inquiry (asking), and Palpation (feeling the pulse and abdomen).
- Acupuncture & Moxibustion: Administer sterile needle treatments to specific acupoints to regulate energy flow; use heat therapy (moxibustion) to stimulate circulation.
- Herbal Pharmacology: Prescribe, dispense, and educate patients on customized herbal formulas (teas, powders, or capsules) based on specific patterns of disharmony.
- Manual & Ancillary Therapies: Perform Tuina (massage), Cupping, or Gua Sha (scraping) to relieve musculoskeletal tension and detoxify the body.
- Lifestyle Counseling: Provide guidance on "Yang Sheng" (nurturing life) practices, including dietary adjustments based on food energetics and Tai Chi/Qigong exercises.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and confidential patient records, tracking progress and adjusting treatment protocols as necessary.
