We are looking for Shift Managers x 2, full time permanant positions to join our busy store in Wellington. Ideal candiate is a highly motivated and organized individual with exceptional customer service. He/she needs to assist with looking after the overall operations of the store, management, customer purchases, price enquiries and special orders. 

Your main tasks will be: 

  • Prioritize workload to ensure work of the greatest importance to the business is undertaken with urgency and to a high standard. 

  • Supervise and assist with the operation of the facility, including customer-facing and back areas. 

  • Introduce new products where possible 

  • Proposing budgets according to future plans and goals 

  • Promoting goods and services of the store 

  • Ensure that the inventory is fully stocked and that the store is operational at the opening time. 

  • Resolve any issues or complaints that are made 

  • Ensure the cash balances at the end of shift and any discrepancies are accounted for. 

  • Track the shift costs and revenue. 

  • Ensure that the store is well maintained and stocked when handing over or closing your shift. 

  • Ensure that customers have a good in-store experience. 

  • Support and help develop a positive workplace culture. 

  • Responsibly manage all business resources within accountability levels. 

  • Develop strategies to reduce expenses and maximize revenue. 

  • Ensure store compliance with the Company's policies and procedures. 

  • Demonstrate through your own actions a commitment to Health and Safety at work when undertaking work or observing others in the workplace. 

You will need the following skills: 

  • Relevant work experience of at least 1 year OR relevant qualification (At least Certificate in business management, commerce, hospitality etc.) 

  • Be punctual and work the hours and times specified. 

  • Proven leadership abilities and driving a team to success. 

  • Must have clean criminal history 

  • Must pass pre-employment checks 

Other details: 

  • Guranteed Minimum of 30  hours per week work and max 45 hours 

  • Pay Range - $25 to $30 based on skills and experience 

  • Weekend, public holidays, late night availability required 

  • Number of Positions: 2
