About the Role
Full Time (40 hours per week) Interventional Cardiologist
The appointee is expected to:
- Participate in diagnostic angiography, right heart catheterisation, PCI (including OCT, Shockwave, IVUS) and structural work including TAVR, TEER and LAA closure.
- Conduct face-to-face patient clinics, providing comprehensive assessments and management plans for a range of cardiac conditions.
- Collaborate with general medicine teams in managing complex cardiac cases including providing an in-hospital consult service.
- Oncall for general cardiology
We are particularly interested in hearing from general cardiologists with an interest in adult congenital heart disease and/or cardiac pacing.

Appointed specialists will possess the FRACP or an equivalent qualification allowing a vocational registration with the NZ Medical Council.
