We are seeking a dedicated Consultant Radiologist to join our forward-thinking team 

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team (MDT) delivering high-quality, patient-centred diagnostic imaging services

The role has a strong emphasis on emergency and inpatient imaging, with excellent support and collegiality within the department.

What we Offer:

  • Comprehensive Imaging Services: Our Radiology service includes MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Interventional procedures, supported by modern RIS/PACS systems
  • Generalist Role with Flexibility: We are looking for a Radiologist with a generalist scope, particularly in CT and MRI. Experience in ultrasound and image-guided procedures is valued but not essential. We welcome and support your subspecialty interests.

About You:

You will be a FRANZCR-qualified Radiologist (or hold an equivalent qualification) eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. A positive, proactive approach and strong communication skills will enable you to work effectively within our supportive MDT. A commitment to continuous quality improvement and a passion for patient care is essential. Requirements:

• FRANZCR or equivalent qualification

• Eligibility for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand

• Strong general radiology skills including MRI and CT; ultrasound an advantage

• Willingness to participate in the shared on-call roster

• A collaborative and patient-focused approach
