We are looking for a  Permanent Full-time Cook to work in our busy restaurant based in Waiuku, Auckland.


Job Description (Cook):

The Cook is expected to work a minimum of 30 hours a week with a weekly payroll. Hours are rostered on a weekly basis and might include weekend shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Setting up workstations and operating kitchen equipment
  • Measuring and weighing ingredients
  • Following recipes and set menus
  • Baking, grilling, steaming or boiling fish, meat, vegetables and other foods
  • Presenting and garnishing dishes
  • Adhering to kitchen hygiene and safety standards
  • Maintaining a clean workspace at all times
  • Monitoring stock levels
  • Regularly update your knowledge and skills for the good of the establishment
  • Any other duties the management may reasonably require

Skills Required:

  • Preparing European and Neplese cuisine dishes.
  • Must have the ability to assist chef in designing and delivering a European food-style menu.
  • Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • a level 5 qualification in cookery or cullinary arts
  • A valid class 1 full drivers licence 

Location: Waiuku, Auckland
Paye: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
Employment: Permanent Full-Time
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
