About the Company
My Pizza Private Limited going to open Brand New Pizza Hut in Cromwell, to deliver high-quality food and excellent customer service in line with Pizza Hut brand standards. Due to future commitments operational requirements, we are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our store.
About the Role
The Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of our stores, including the rostering, training, and coaching of team members, delivering excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, creating business strategies to attract new customers, preparing detailed sales reports and monitoring inventory levels on new stock. This role is ideal for a passionate, hard-working individual, with a commitment to high standards and an interest in learning and developing their skills in our organisation.
Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the fast-food industry or retail and/or a relevant qualification at level of level 4 and above. Minimum working hours of 30 per week. Wage rate will range between $26 to $30 per hour depending on prior experience and/or qualification
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily store operations to ensure efficient service delivery.

Develop and implement effective customer service procedures and standards.

Monitor staff performance and provide training and support to ensure service excellence.

Manage rostering, labour costs, and staff scheduling to maintain productivity.

Oversee inventory control, stock ordering, and supplier coordination.

Handle and resolve customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.

Maintain compliance with company policies, brand standards, and New Zealand food safety and hygiene regulations.

Monitor store sales performance, prepare reports, and support budgeting and cost control activities.

Ensure store cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation meet required standards.

Support marketing, local promotions, and community engagement activities.

Recruit, train, and supervise team members to build a strong and motivated workforce.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Experience Required
-
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a (fast food, hospitality, or retail preferred), or

Relevant qualification at Level 4 or above

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Knowledge of food safety and health & safety requirements

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Customer-focused approach with attention to detail

Note: The store operates 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends. The Store Manager is expected to work across trading hours as required.
