BNEYY LIMITED is seeking an experienced and motivated person to join our busy ice cream parlour and café in Auckland. Our business serves premium ice creams, cakes, coffee, desserts, and confectionery products in a fast-paced customer service environment.

This is a full-time permanent position based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Pay Rate: NZD $28 – $34 per hour

Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week

Location: Auckland


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Plan, organise, and oversee the daily operations of the ice cream parlour and café

  • Manage staff rosters, supervise employees, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations

  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times

  • Monitor stock levels and arrange purchasing of ingredients, beverages, cakes, confectionery, and other supplies

  • Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and licensing requirements

  • Monitor sales performance and assist in implementing promotional activities

  • Train and supervise staff in customer service, food handling, and café procedures

  • Prepare and serve coffee and hot beverages when required

  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the premises

  • Manage cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and daily reporting

  • Coordinate late-night operations and ensure smooth service during busy periods

  • Work weekends, public holidays, and late-night shifts as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Approximate 3 years of relevant work experience in hospitality, café, restaurant, or food service management OR Level 5 Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field

  • Have excellent knowledge about coffee preparations and café coffee machines so employees could be trained

  • Strong customer service and team management skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexible availability including weekends and late-night shifts
