This role offers a diverse and stimulating caseload, including a mix of general pathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal (GIT), urogenital, Head and Neck and breast pathology. You'll also utilize your expertise with occasional frozen sections.

Subject to accreditation and service requirements the position may offer the optional engagement in performing coronial autopsies for career development.

 

To be considered you must have or be eligible for specialist (or locum tenens) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) in a Pathology Vocational scope of practice.

Ideally you will have completed a Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) or equivalent.

If you are currently overseas / not yet registered, we can assist you with the application process to obtain MCNZ registration.
