We are looking for a proactive and motivated restaurant manager to manage our cafe located in Hamilton.
Job duties include
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Staff management including supervision, training, recruitment and performance management
- Monitor stock levels and order supplies to maintain adequate inventory
- Set sales goals and track spending to manage the restaurant's budget effectively
- Update menu prices and decide on special offers or promotions
- Manage overall marketing initiatives
- Handle payments, ensuring funds are securely deposited or delivered to the owner
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balancing accounts
- Complete daily and weekly sales reports and prepare comprehensive spending and budget reports
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to maintain strong business relationships and ensure quality product delivery
- Oversee overall implementation of all applicable regulations
We will offer a minimum of 32 hours per week.
An ideal applicant should have at least two years of industry experience or at least a college qualification in business/management.
