We are looking for a proactive and motivated restaurant manager to manage our cafe located in Hamilton. 

Job duties include

 

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Staff management including supervision, training, recruitment and performance management 
  • Monitor stock levels and order supplies to maintain adequate inventory
  • Set sales goals and track spending to manage the restaurant's budget effectively
  • Update menu prices and decide on special offers or promotions
  • Manage overall marketing initiatives
  • Handle payments, ensuring funds are securely deposited or delivered to the owner
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balancing accounts
  • Complete daily and weekly sales reports and prepare comprehensive spending and budget reports
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to maintain strong business relationships and ensure quality product delivery
  • Oversee overall implementation of all applicable regulations

We will offer a minimum of 32 hours per week. 

 

An ideal applicant should have at least two years of industry experience or at least a college qualification in business/management.
