We are looking for Cafe Manager to join our team.
Pay Start from $30 to $35
Position Overview:
The Cafe Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic leader with a deep love for coffee and food, excellent organizational skills, and a knack for creating a positive and engaging environment for both employees and customers. Full time role 30 to 40 hours per week and pay starts from $30 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining equipment.
- Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise cafe staff. Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and productivity.
- Customer Service: Foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, address customer inquiries and concerns, and ensure a high standard of service.
- Sales and Marketing: Implement strategies to increase sales, manage promotional activities, and monitor financial performance.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, hygiene, and safety in compliance with health regulations.
- Financial Management: Handle cash management, budgeting, and financial reporting. Analyze sales data and implement cost-control measures.
- Bakery : Managing the daily operations of the bakery section
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of 3 years or more as a Cafe Manager or in a similar leadership role within the food and beverage industry.
- Diploma in Hospitality or Management would be advantageous and may substitute the experience.
- Strong knowledge of operations in hospitality industry and food/ health safety standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficient in using POS systems and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
- Flexible to early morning start
