Warehouse Manager

Location: Auckland

Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Remuneration: $35.00 per hour

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (Roster between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM)

About the Role

To support our growth and supercharge our supply efficiency, we have recently established a brand-new warehouse right here in Auckland! We are now seeking an experienced, proactive, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to take ownership of this site, streamline our operations, and lead our day-to-day logistics.

This is a permanent, full-time role offering stability, a competitive hourly rate, and a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

As our Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the total warehouse environment. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Inventory & Stock Control: Reconciling incoming/outgoing stock with requisitions, updating inventory records, and planning/coordinating routine stocktakes.

  • Logistics & Dispatch: Managing the receipt and dispatch of goods (including loading/unloading shipping containers), preparing delivery schedules, and printing storage/dispatch labels.

  • Quality Assurance: Examining all incoming and outgoing stock to ensure order fulfillment meets our high standards.

  • Process Improvement: Establishing and managing efficient, ongoing processes for receiving, handling, and storing goods.

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Supervising the warehouse floor, performing new team member inductions/training, and liaising effectively with staff, senior managers, and suppliers.

  • Health & Safety: Strictly ensuring all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies are followed, fostering a safety-conscious workplace culture.

  • Floor Operations: Operating forklifts and other machinery to pick, pack, and store stock when required.

What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: At least 3+ years of proven work experience in a Manager or similar administration role.

  • Industry Bonus: Prior experience in the fruit and vegetable retail/wholesale sector is highly preferable and will give your application a distinct advantage.

  • Skills: Strong communication skills, excellent organizational ability, and a sharp eye for detail.

  • Culture Fit: A positive, safety-first attitude and a willingness to lead by example on the warehouse floor.
