Who we need

We’re seeking a Hotel Manager with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Diploma or higher Qualification in Business, Management, or Hospitality. Or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Hold a valid LCQ certificate.
  • Familiar with Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, and hotel management systems, including RMS, Clarity, and SAP.
  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • A good work ethic and professional attitude
  • Experience in digital marketing, social media management, and bilingual campaign coordination will be an advantage.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay of $35–$40 per hour, depending on experience and skill level

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily Hotel operations, including reservations, front office, housekeeping, restaurant operations, events, and property maintenance to ensure efficient operations and high-quality guest service delivery.
  • Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and refund requests promptly and professionally, while assessing customer feedback and implementing service improvements to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with liquor licensing requirements, health and safety standards, employment and company policies and procedures.
  • Train, roster, supervise, and conduct performance reviews for staff, including reviewing weekly timesheets and payroll records to ensure labour efficiency, payroll accuracy, and compliance.
  • Manage financial administration and operational performance, including daily banking, reconciliation, reporting, cost control, inventory stocktakes, and monthly account reconciliation.
  • Coordinate reservations and revenue management activities, including managing agent bookings, negotiating and confirming contracted rates, maintaining relationships with travel agents and business partners, and managing pricing strategies for FIT (Free Independent Traveller) guests to maximise occupancy and revenue outcomes.
  • Analyse occupancy, revenue, and operational performance data, and prepare reports and business recommendations for owners and senior management to support operational planning and business growth.
  • Utilise hotel management systems (including RMS, Clarity, and SAP) to support reservations management, operational efficiency, reporting, and business data analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager or hotel owner to ensure smooth hotel operations.
