Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Manmohana Limited is looking for a restaurant manager.

Full-time permanent position

Work location: Porirua, Wellington

Working hours: Minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week, upto a maximum of 50 hours per week.

Pay: NZ$27.00 - NZ$35.00 per hour

As a restaurant manager you will oversee daily operations, ensure outstanding customer experiences. You will play key role in maintaining service standards, supporting team and ensuring smooth running of the restaurant.

Key duties and responsibilities for a restaurant manager:

  • Planning menus in consultation with chefs.
  • Planning and organising special functions.
  • Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget.
  • Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
  • Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.
  • Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.
  • Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff.
  • Taking reservations, greeting guests and assisting in taking orders.
  • Manage staff rosters, opening and closing procedures and daily operations.
  • Performing other lawful duties as reasonably required by the director or management.

Qualification or Experience:

Level 5 relevant qualification or at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
