NOODLE WAY LTD is based in Albany, Auckland. Due to business needs, we are looking for two full-time Restaurant Duty Managers to join our team, you will be working for a minimum of 30 hours per week on a roster, and you will be responsible for:
  • Collaborate with chefs to design, plan, and regularly update menus, including determining pricing strategies.
  • Work closely with chefs to coordinate special orders, events, and functions.
  • Oversee procurement and pricing of supplies, ensuring strict adherence to budget constraints.
  • Maintain detailed inventory records, managing stock and placing orders with suppliers while implementing the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) policy.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency in dining areas.
  • Engage with customers to assess their satisfaction with both meals and service.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise both waitstaff and kitchen personnel.
  • Create staff schedules, manage rosters, and track attendance.
  • Handle reservations, greet guests, and assist with order-taking as required.

About you:

  • Demonstration of good character with no criminal record is essential
  • A minimum of three years of work experience in this industry or NZQA Level 4 qualifications are required
  • As a Chinese cuisine, we prefer to be bilingual in Mandarin and English
