We are seeking an experienced and motivated Massage Therapist to join our growing wellness team in Auckland. The successful applicant will provide professional massage treatments to clients, helping to improve physical wellbeing, reduce muscle tension, and support rehabilitation and relaxation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss treatment objectives.
  • Develop and implement appropriate massage treatment plans.
  • Perform a range of massage therapies, including deep tissue, relaxation, remedial, sports, and therapeutic massage techniques.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as required.
  • Maintain accurate client treatment records.
  • Provide advice on stretching, posture, exercise, and wellness practices.
  • Ensure treatment rooms and equipment are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.
  • Comply with all workplace health and safety requirements.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

  • Relevant qualification at NZQF Level 4 or above in Massage Therapy, Remedial Massage, Therapeutic Massage, or a related field; OR
  • At least two years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and massage techniques.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional and client-focused attitude.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in deep tissue massage, remedial massage, sports massage, or traditional therapeutic massage.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
  • Multilingual communication skills are advantageous.
