We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Duty Manager to join our team at a busy bar in Wellington. This is a full-time permanent position offering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bar operations and customer service
- Ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act
- Manage staff during shifts and provide leadership
- Handle cash, EFTPOS and daily reconciliations
- Monitor responsible service of alcohol practices
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment
- Assist with stock control and ordering
- Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally
Requirements:
- Current LCQ (Licence Controller Qualification) – Essential
- Previous hospitality or bar experience (2 years)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Honest, reliable and able to work independently
- Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
