We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Duty Manager to join our team at a busy bar in Wellington. This is a full-time permanent position offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily bar operations and customer service
  • Ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act
  • Manage staff during shifts and provide leadership
  • Handle cash, EFTPOS and daily reconciliations
  • Monitor responsible service of alcohol practices
  • Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment
  • Assist with stock control and ordering
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally

Requirements:

  • Current LCQ (Licence Controller Qualification) – Essential
  • Previous hospitality or bar experience (2 years)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Honest, reliable and able to work independently
  • Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
