Jins Food Two Limited, operating as Gogigopang Korean Restaurant on Auckland's North Shore, is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our team. We are a vibrant Korean restaurant specialising in authentic Korean traditional Korean cuisine, committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience through quality food, warm hospitality, and outstanding service.

This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment and is ready to take full ownership of daily operations — from team management and customer relations to ensuring every guest enjoys an authentic and memorable Korean dining experience.

        Minimum Guaranteed Hours: At least 30 hours weekly, up to 48 hours

        Location: North Shore, Auckland

        Remuneration: Negotiable for the right candidate, between $28.00–$32.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications

Your day-to-day work will involve:

        Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient front-of-house and back-of-house coordination

        Planning and developing menus in consultation with kitchen staff, incorporating authentic Korean dishes and seasonal specials

        Planning and organising group customer functions to drive customer engagement and revenue growth

        Arranging the purchasing and pricing of food supplies and goods in accordance with budget, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness

        Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, financial transactions, and daily sales performance

        Ensuring the restaurant complies with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations and is clean

        Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with food and service, and acting promptly on feedback to improve the dining experience

        Selecting, training, and supervising front-of-house and kitchen staff, fostering a positive, productive, and culturally inclusive team environment

        Welcoming and seating guests, taking reservations, and assisting with orders during peak periods as required

Applicants for this role should have:

        Relevant experience in restaurant or hospitality management (at least 2 years), or a qualification in hospitality management or a related field

        Proven leadership and team management skills in a busy restaurant or food service environment

        Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and stock management

        Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

        Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle feedback professionally

        Strong organisational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment

        Good communication skills to liaise with staff, suppliers, and customers

        Experience in or familiarity with Korean cuisine and culture is an advantage
