To support our upcoming opening and future growth, we are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, leading and supporting staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the high standards that our restaurant aims to achieve. The Restaurant Manager will also be responsible for coordinating business activities, monitoring operational performance, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.
The role will include, but not limited to:

Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and profitable business performance.

Coordinate and supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance to ensure a productive and customer-focused team.

Prepare staff rosters and allocate duties to ensure adequate staffing levels and smooth daily operations.

Monitor sales, operating costs, and inventory levels, and implement cost-control measures to improve profitability.

Coordinate the purchasing of food, beverages, and restaurant supplies, and maintain effective inventory control procedures.

Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to maintain customer satisfaction and the restaurant’s reputation.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and all relevant regulatory requirements.

Review business performance, sales trends, and customer feedback, and implement strategies to improve revenue and operational performance.

Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and other business partners to support the efficient operation of the restaurant.
Job pre-requisites:

A Level 5 qualification or higher in Business, Management, Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or a related field; and

At least two years of full-time experience in the tourism and hospitality industry gained after formal studies.
