Duty Manager
Key Responsibilities
As the Duty Manager, you will assist the Venue Manager and ensure exceptional service delivery on the venue floor. Your responsibilities include:
Supervising the day-to-day operations of the venue floor, ensuring smooth service during events.
Coordinating with team members to deliver high-quality guest experiences.
Assisting in staff training and development to maintain service standards.
Monitoring and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
Resolving on-site issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
Ensuring that the venue floor is clean, organized, and event-ready at all times.
Supporting the Venue Manager in operational tasks as required.
Key Requirements
To succeed as a duty Manager, you will need:
At least 1-2 years of experience in a hospitality supervisory or similar role with at least 6 months barista experience.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including liquor laws (preferred).
A flexible attitude and availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
A desire to grow and develop in the hospitality industry.
