This is a minimum wage job. You will need to be available to work on weekends and public holidays. Drug test and police check will be required for the successful candidates.
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and guidelines, including grilling, frying, baking, and assembling sandwiches, burgers, fries, chicken tenders, and other fast food items.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, and temperature controls, to ensure food safety and minimize food waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas, including regular cleaning of equipment, utensils, and surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth food production and timely delivery of orders, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Monitor inventory levels of food ingredients, report shortages or discrepancies, and assist with restocking and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of kitchen equipment, tools, and chemicals, and report any safety hazards or incidents to management.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that food is prepared and presented in an appealing and timely manner, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns related to food quality or preparation.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and food preparation techniques, and stay updated on any changes or modifications to menu items or recipes.
- Assist with training and mentoring new kitchen staff, and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
