Restaurant Manager wanted
We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to join us. This is a fulltime role with a minimum 30 hours per week.
Main Purpose
To manage the overall business and operational performance of the restaurant, ensuring high-quality dining services, financial sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and profitable performance

Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and control operational costs

Plan menus in consultation with kitchen staff to optimise profitability and customer satisfaction

Coordinate purchasing, negotiate with suppliers, and manage inventory control

Plan and organise special functions and promotional events

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

Analyse sales data and implement strategies to improve revenue

Recruit, train, and supervise staff

Maintain high customer service standards and respond to customer feedback

Develop and implement operational procedures and policies
The successful candidate must have:
- At least 2 year of relevant work experience, OR an equivalent NZ Level 5 or above, OR a Bachelor's qualification in any discipline.
- Good work attitude and good communication skills
- Strong motivation
- Quality workmanship and eye for detail
- Strong dedication to health and workplace safety
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with other team members.
- Strong ability to work independently
