We're looking for a warm, customer-focused Front of House team member to be the face of Vani's Kitchen. You'll deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests in a fine dining Indian restaurant setting. Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but a genuine passion for great service and people matters most. Flexible part-time hours to suit the right candidate.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Greeting and seating guests, managing reservations and walk-ins
- Taking orders accurately and confidently communicating the menu
- Delivering food and beverages to tables with care and professionalism
- Handling payments and end-of-shift reconciliation
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the dining area
- Upselling menu items, specials, and beverages where appropriate
- Supporting catering events and private functions as required
- Communicating effectively between front and back of house teams
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a front of house or customer-facing hospitality role
- Valid working rights in New Zealand
- Own reliable transportation
