We're looking for a warm, customer-focused Front of House team member to be the face of Vani's Kitchen. You'll deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests in a fine dining Indian restaurant setting. Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but a genuine passion for great service and people matters most. Flexible part-time hours to suit the right candidate.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Greeting and seating guests, managing reservations and walk-ins
  • Taking orders accurately and confidently communicating the menu
  • Delivering food and beverages to tables with care and professionalism
  • Handling payments and end-of-shift reconciliation
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the dining area
  • Upselling menu items, specials, and beverages where appropriate
  • Supporting catering events and private functions as required
  • Communicating effectively between front and back of house teams

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a front of house or customer-facing hospitality role
  • Valid working rights in New Zealand
  • Own reliable transportation
